MACBOOK PRO 13 LOGIC BOARD REPLACEMENT 2011 LATE PRO
And from what i've read almost every MacBook pro since my late 2011 has had issues either exploding batteries or faulty keyboards. The iMac pro is too powerful and too expensive for what I need same with the upcoming Mac Pro. Should I just save up for a new computer? Im thinking the new iMac this time. Is it worth it to get the logic board replaced a second time or will I still be facing the same issues? Have they replaced the lead free solder that from what I have read is part of the issue or can I expect the same? I am curious what was the main issue with these logic board failures? Graphics card got too hot? Due to the lead free solder they were using? Not enough cooling? If there is more than one reason for the 2011 logic board failure I would love a list. Ive had the battery checked, the batter is fine as well as its cycle count.
Im not sure if turning it off puts all the graphics load on the GPU. And I won't turn it off because the computer automatically freezes when I turn it off.
Screen gets choppy and freezes, automatically shuts off if it gets too hot (it always gets too hot, even though I have graphics switching turned on. will provide navigation to the 15 MacBook Pro Complete Display, Matte, Early 2008. I was eligible for the logic board replacement a few years back and I did get it replaced at an apple store, and it did work fine for a few months but now for well over a year or two or whenever I had it replaced its been the same issue. Make sure that the LCD control board is not sitting on anything. So I have one of those late 2011 15" MacBook Pro's
